ASUS has finally wakened up from sleep and is trying to control the damage done to its reputation because of low performance batteries which were used in ASUS Eee PC900. ASUS is now offering a £10 battery upgrade for those who are unhappy with the battery of their laptops. What they have to do is to just send their original 4400mAh battery to an Asus service centre and for £10 + VAT (but inc P&P), they’ll get a 5800mAh battery in return. I think ASUS should have offered battery free of cost as Nokia replace all defective BL-5C batteries free of cost. This offer will commence from 10th of June.
