Another cool Photoshop tutorial which shows you how to make a 3d like crescent logo using photoshop.
[1] Take a new file of 500 pixels, 500 pixels
of resolution 72 dpi in the RGB mode.
[2] Take the Pen Tool and draw
a shape as shown image below.
[3] Now create a new layer.
[4] Make the selection and fill the
color white see in the next image.
[5] Then go to Blending Option
and select the Bevel and Emboss
use these settings.
[6] Do not click ok select the
gradient overlay use these settings.
[7] Your image should be look like this.
[8] Then make the two copies
of layer 1, see in the next.
[9] Now set the shape different angle with the help
of move tool and Transform selection as shown image.
[10] Repeat step 9.
[11] Now Press Cntl+E to
Merge down the layers.
[12] Then make the copy
of layer 1 see in the
next image.
[13] The go to Edit>Transform>Flip Vertical
[14] Your image should
be look like this.
[15] And then Press Cntl+E
to Merge both the layers
as shown image.
[16] Here is your final image.
