Here we will tell you how to make a Flag-furl-shade-effect in photoshop.

[1] Take a new file of 500 pixels,500 pixels, of resolution 72 dpi in the RGB mode.

[2] Set the Foreground Color see in the next image.

[3] Now take the Rectangular Marquee Tool create a shape and fill the color do not Deselect.

[4] Now take the Gradient Tool use these settings.

[5] Create a new layer and fill the selection with the help of Gradient Tool.

[6] And now set the Opacity as shown fig below.

[7] Now Hold Cntl+E, to Merge Down the Layers do not merge the Background layer, see in the next image.

[8] Your image should be look like this.

[9] Now go to Filter>Distort>Wave use these settings.

[10] Your image should be look like this.

[11] Then take the Shape Tool and select this one.

[12] Make the new layer create a shape and fill with White color.

[13] Press Cntl+T, Transform Selection to Rotate your image.

[14] Then take the Shape Tool and select this one.

[15] Create a shape and fill with White color.

[16] And now Change the Opacity to Shape layer as shown image below.

[17] Your image should be look like this.

[18] Now make the copy of Layer1, and change the Blending Mode Multiply as shown fig below.

[19] Your final image should be look like this.
