How to Increase Mental Fitness

The mental fitness is increased by doing different activities, acquiring new skills and searching for new information. If some one is hooked on to the same work for years then one’s mental growth will be stagnant or decreased. This growth is decreased further if there are no new things to learn in the routine work. The problem is that most of the people, today, are doing the same work everyday. This is not good for your mental growth and fitness.

There are some methods that can increase your mental fitness. An easy way is to play games. Many electronic games are very challenging and require the attention of your mind. Regular playing of such games keeps your mind alert which increases its efficiency. But only play these games for 15-30 minutes for the best results. Meditation is a great way to make your mind calm and relaxed. Daily meditation of 15-20 minutes will help your mental growth. Eating some good sources of fats increases the mental fitness. For example fish, nuts, olive oil and flax seeds are rich sources of the fats that are good for mental growth and fitness. The fats you eat should not have the great quantity of saturated fats. Also remove the “TRANSFATS” from your meal.
